Free Motion Quilting - New Book

Quilts, Redwork, Sewing, Knitting! Quilting is my passion! Welcome to my world of Quilting!
Free Motion Quilting by Angela Walters

I picked up a copy Angela's book at the library this past weekend. It was shelved with the recent releases. She has released another book since this one. It may not be new to you but certainly is for me.

What a fabulous book with creative designs!
Amazon describes the designs as "continuous-line swirls, circles, squares, vines, arcs, and points."

They are gorgeous if that is an appropriate description for modern!

As I generally do when checking out a book, I flipped through her book looking at the pictures of quilts displayed on the pages. You would have heard ooohhhh and ahhhh!

Now I am wondering how I can incorporate her designs in this quilt. Modern designs for a modern quilt.

First though I need to make the backing for the quilt. Off to design and plan.

 1. I love that book! I use it for reference all the time. Angela Walters was part of the FMQ Challenge last year. She showed us how to quilt her tiles. I really enjoyed her tutorial so I went out and got the book.

 2. Oh I didn't know she was one of the instructors. :( Life took over and I missed about half of the year of the challenge. I will have to go check out SewCalGal's website.
