In the bottom left corner are place mats. This is my rendition of using Cynthia's design of a scrappy quilt. She has great instructions for making various sizes. Go to Quilting is more fun than Housework to make this happy looking quilt or place mats as I have created. They look so pretty on my table! Brightens up my kitchen. The best part was making them from scraps and stash. I have chosen a lime green for the back and binding.
I have committed myself to making some blocks for Kevin the Quilters QOV Block Drive. Go here for more information on his wonderful endeavor!

ReplyDeleteI really like Cynthia's scrappy quilts and have 2 of them on my To Do List. I'm currently working on the one that you used for making your place mats. I like them! I too have committed myself to making some QOV blocks for Kevin the Quilter!
